THE IRONHORSE IN SCOTLAND

After months of rebuilding his old Honda XRV750 Africa Twin, nicknamed the IronHorse, Adam Riemann crated it up in Western Australia and shipped it across the globe to begin a 4,800km ride around the UK. His journey kicks off in London, but true to form, Adam wastes no time. Within hours of unboxing the bike from Bikes Abroad, he’s riding north toward the raw beauty of the Scottish Highlands.

In The IronHorse In Scotland, the first episode of this series riding through the UK, Adam reunites with the machine that’s carried him through countless adventures. The smooth hum of the Africa Twin’s engine and its bulletproof reliability are a welcome comfort as he escapes the chaos of the city and heads into remote territory.

A last-minute decision to meet up with a Motology Films subscriber changes the course of the trip. Jacob, a Polish rider now living in Scotland, invites Adam to explore his local terrain, and brings with him a legendary bike of his own. A modified Cagiva Elefant. With hand-built rally tanks, a Ducati motor, and serious fabrication skills on display, Jacob’s machine is the perfect counterpart to the IronHorse.

Together, they carve through scenic backroads, navigate gates and muddy trails, and swap stories beside campfires and roadside cafés. It’s a raw, unscripted ride that captures the essence of adventure. Two passionate riders on two iconic machines, discovering the Highlands together.

The IronHorse In Scotland is a story of connection, trust and the shared language of motorcycling.
