ENTERING AN OLD BIKE IN A MODERN RALLY

I rode 4000km to join 350 riders at the Rally Del Garda in Italy. My 1992 XRV750 Africa Twin was one of the older bikes among a sea of current model race, rally and adventure bikes. Was I on the wrong bike?
