SURVIVING THE SIMPSON DESERT
Deep sand, extreme temperatures and massive distances set the adventure for Adam and Rodney as they take on the famous Hay track from Jervois Station right through to a remote cattle station in South Australia The conditions turn treacherous as the mercury spikes to the hottest recorded temperature for winter in the Simpson Desert, right when the boys are taking on the mighty red sand dunes. This ride is not only a test of their mental strength and endurance, but a testament to the performance and reliability of their fully loaded Yamaha Tenere 700 World Raids. Each carrying 30-litres of extra fuel, the boys soon realise they’re not carrying enough water…
Great video! I’m stuck up here in America wishing I could ride your lovely deserts while y’all probably wanna ride our incredible mountain ranges. We should trade bikes and houses for a week! 😆. My 22’ excf500 Six Days might be a tad small compared to the T7 though 😁
