THE IRONHORSE – XRV750 Africa Twin
I travelled half way around the planet to discover a legendary motorcycle, ship it back to Australia, only to find somebody had one sitting in their shed down the road from my house. You all know the story of the Warhorse … now let me introduce you to the Ironhorse! The legend that is the 1992 XRV750 Africa Twin.

Great build. Awesome looks, awesome sound and great handling in your hands.
Cheers Max !
What a beautiful machine, the juice was definitely worth the squeeze, well done!
Hi Adam
Thank you for producing such awesome and gripping content. The highlight of my day when you launch new stuff.
Please share if you will info about the Iron Horse suspension.
Shock model?
what did you do in the front? Obviously KYB but is there a model number?
What about the clamps and how does the rest like the rims fit together.
Please point me in the right direction
Forever Grateful
Here you go mate. Boano Racing – Ohlins Shock and 48mm KYB front-end all made for the horse: https://www.boano.com/l1/7/10/adventure-bike/africa-twin-750-rd04/sospensioni
Adam, triying my luck here as well, not sure if it was mentioned somewhere, but i am curious where did you get replacement decals? They look proper and most places i saw them offering seemed pretty bad in terms of fit and quality. Rebuilding mine and would love to go for a proven provider. Cheers and best of luck, Jaka

Hey Adam, lovin your Ironhorse, bought a RD07 in March this year. Now I want to upgrade at least the rear shock. Did you bought the “standard” modified Öhlins shock from boano with a lenght of 386mm or do you have a custom one with a different lenght. I’m asking because your Ironhorse looks incredible high, compared to mine, and I have already increased the height by modifying/lengthen the original rear shock. Cheers and always enough dirt underneath your wheels, Paul
